Solar Power Rebates

More and more states are now offering rebates to those who install solar power systems at their homes. These rebates may cut the cost of such systems by as much as half!

Rebates may be offered on a local, state or even federal level. It pays to do your research on rebates while determining your budget, as these can significantly increase it. Of course, you need to make sure you take all the steps you need to in order to qualify for rebates and other incentives.

The most up to date resource for solar power rebates and incentives I know of is at DSIRE, a project of Interstate Renewable Energy Council and that is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.
